Can the ResMed ClimateLine tubing cleaning work with the H5i Humidifier?

Does the ClimateLine Heated Tube by ResMed eliminate the rain out?

While working with your humidifier, this heated tube will virtually eliminate the rain out. Even so, you may find some other few tough points as this model can only work with the Climate Control System. How Frequently Should I Wash My ClimateLine Heated Tube by ResMed?

The ClimateLine should be cleaned by washing weekly. Use warm water and an additional mild detergent before finally rinsing the setup thoroughly. After that, you should also allow the heated tubing to dry up completely. Remember to air dry the setup and do not dry it under direct sunlight.

Can I Connect the Heated Tubing to My Machine at Any Time?

No. If you have just washed your ClimateLine Heated Tube by ResMed, you shouldn’t connect it to the machine until when it is completely dry. This is very important and failure to do so may trigger the growth of fungi and other microbes.

Can I submerge the hose completely into the water?

If your ClimateLine Heated Tube is completely dry, then it is safe to completely take the tubing and connect or submerge the hose right into the water. Do not submerge the hose if the hose is not completely dry. Proper care is very important for any CPAP machine part that you want to function efficiently at any given time.
